Payment termsWheel Nook accepts payment via Credit Card, Paypal & Direct Deposit (bank transfer). No goods will be dispatched without full payment. All pricing on www.wheelnook.com.au is in Australian Dollars (AUD) and includes GST of 10%. Prices are subject to change without notice but once an order is placed, your price will be honoured.
DeliveryDelivery within Australia will be made via Australia Post or a courier service. Postage and handling costs will be confirmed upon checkout, and will be judged according to the weight, size and number of items, unless a special offer is in effect or a valid discount code applied. Please note: remote / rural areas in Australia can incur an extra delivery fee. This will be quoted once your order has been received and reviewed.
Items will be despatched within 5 working days of your payment clearing. Please allow 2 to 10 working days for delivery within Australia. Goods lost in transit cannot be replaced until an investigation has been completed by Australia Post or the relevant courier company. A re-delivery fee may be applied if it is found that the delivery address or delivery instructions provided were incorrect or insufficient. In some cases a new delivery address may be requested. If this cannot be provided we reserve the right to cancel and refund the order.
Bicycle AssemblyOur bikes are delivered partially assembled to be completed by a qualified mechanic. Wheel Nook accepts no responsibility for the assembly of any of our products. We do not offer a warranty or accept any liability in the event of an accident or mechanical fault. Most items are covered by the manufacturer's warranty (eg Shimano) - see below for more details.
Bicycle GuaranteeOur bikes are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase. To exchange a bicycle or a part, the bicycle must be clean and in good condition, with proof of regular servicing.
Out of Stock ItemsMost items can be back in stock within 1 week of your order date, however we will notify you of any delay. You will be given the opportunity to cancel the order or choose an alternative item. Goods on back order will be dispatched as soon as they are received by the Wheel Nook provided they have been paid for in full.
ExchangesIf for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 7 days of receipt to arrange an exchange. The returned item must be unused and in its original packaging with all tags intact. The customer is responsible for postage charges incurred for the return of exchange items, except in special circumstances. Special circumstances will be judged on a per case basis.
Return of Damaged GoodsIf you receive an item that is not in perfect condition, please contact us within 7 days to arrange a replacement. We ask that you return the goods with labels and packaging included. Wheel Nook will replace faulty items on approval of the damage. The customer is responsible for paying postage charges incurred for the return of damaged item(s), however this will be fully refunded on approval of the damage. We will send the replacement item free of charge. If the product purchased is no longer in stock we will offer you the option to wait while we order more stock, an exchange or a refund.
Return of Faulty GoodsAll products sold by the Wheel Nook are quality brands that are respected in our industry. Most of these items are are covered by a warranty offered by the manufacturer. If a product appears to be faulty, and the purchase date falls within the time frame outlined by the manufacturer's warranty period, then you should contact the Wheel Nook immediately for information on how to process a warranty claim with that particular manufacturer's Australian distributor.
The customer is responsible for paying postage charges incurred for the return of faulty item(s), however this will be fully refunded on approval of the fault.
The decision to repair, replace, or refuse a claim is made by the manufacturer's Australian distributor only. If the claim is refused due to any reasons given by the manufacturer's Australian distributor, the customer will be notified and will be responsible for delivery charges of the product if the customer would like it returned.
If the claim is approved for repair or replacement, no shipping will be charged on final delivery to the customer. This cost will covered by the Wheel Nook.
